Third Annual 5K Run/Walk To Support Learning Center

The 3rd Annual 5K Race to support the Children's Dyslexia Center will be held on July 23, 2011.

On Saturday, July 23, 2011, the Valley of Hartford and the Family Life Committee are sponsoring the Third Annual "Scottish Rite Freemasons 5k Run/Walk To Benefit Children With Dyslexia." This race, over a USA Track & Field certified course, beginning and ending at the Scottish Rite Cathedral, will use the latest electronic timing technology and will attract both experienced and novice runners and walkers.

The event will provide great positive exposure for our Valley, Scottish Rite Masonry and Freemasonry as a whole. All proceeds will benefit the Children's Dyslexia Center in Waterbury. Last year's race was wildly successful, so let's see if we can top it this year!

Procedures for Entering the Race

If you wish to enter on line, please go to www.active.com.

An official entry form is available if you wish to print the form and mail it, to the address on the form.

The entry form also provides information on parking and the race route.

T-shirts are available for the first 200 pre-registered entrants.

Additional activities will include a DJ providing music before and after the race and Food will also be available.
